  • The Anti-pasto was well done. Cute place in a shopping center. I hate not 5 star places doing their best. Nothing memorable but a good restaurant doing their best. Oh one memorable thing one Italian girl doing everything while 4 or 5 others just kinda stood around and watched.

  • The meatballs are incredibly delicious & melt in your mouth! The Pistachio Panarea (cream pie) is heavenly & I hope they keep it on the menu- it’s a one of a kind delicious dessert & goes well with a pistachio cappuccino! Their coffee is the best in town. Truly authentic Italian cuisine.

  • Went here with some friends recently and split a supreme pizza, and we were all delighted! The crust was thin, toasty and crackly yet had a nice doughiness to it. The ingredients were all fresh and delicious. The drinks were cold and served efficiently. The atmosphere is charming, only a few blocks from the beach. The service was outstanding. We felt it was reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend Caffe Vesuvio for your pizza fix in NSB!

  • Great food and atmosphere. Came because I was craving scampi, and that actually ended up being our least favorite thing lol. Prosciutto salad, lunch pizza slice, eggplant rollatini, and carrot soup were great. Finished with 2 yummy cappuccinos that were not bitter, for once! Skip the scampi!

  • The food is DEVINE! I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo and a Caesar salad. Both were fantastic and fresh. My niece ordered the penne à la vodka and loved it. My nephew had their pepperoni pizza and swears it’s the best pizza in NSB. We were so full that we took dessert to go. I took home their pistachio cake and it is heaven on earth. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great Italian spot.

  • I’m so glad we “randomly” chose Caffé Vesuvio. We were hungry and wanted to go somewhere that was not that crowded on a Wednesday afternoon. Wow! After being blown away by the sheer pleasure of enjoying their bread (on my Stromboli, and my wife’s pizza), I learned that the chef makes their bread daily and it is very clear when you taste it yourself! The thing is, I’m not a bread person- I usually opt for something with meat. But, holy cow, I’m coming back today for more of that amazing baked crust - it absolutely makes the meal. I cut my Stromboli once, down the center, for the photo (I was absolutely stuffed - finished the whole thing)

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Café Vesuvio clearly has a strong reputation—my extended family absolutely raves about it—and I can see why many people enjoy it. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the meal. From a food perspective, though, I personally found most dishes to be good but not outstanding, especially through the lens of my wife, who comes from a multi-generation Italian family. • Chicken piccata was good, but a bit underwhelming—very few capers, and the white wine sauce tasted thinner and more diluted than the richer, tangy sauce I was expecting. • Spaghetti and meatballs: the meatballs themselves were solid, but the sauce felt more like straight tomato paste than a deeply developed, seasoned marinara. • Pasta was cooked very well—firm, not mushy, not overcooked. That part was done right. • Cheesy garlic knots were fine, but nothing memorable. Overall, everything was okay, and the service really stood out in a positive way. While nothing we ordered rose to the level of “excellent” food-wise for us, I can still appreciate why this place is well loved, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable atmosphere and great
